Willyconker and Gary Carroll just hold off Majestic Pearl

Austin Leahy made the long journey from Limerick worthwhile after his charge Willyconker landed the Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Package Nursery Handicap in the hands of Gary Carroll.
Carroll produced the son of Pyrus to lead over one furlong out and the pair kept on well to hold off the challenge of Majestic Pearl by a neck.A delighted Leahy said afterwards: “It certainly made the journey up here worthwhile. " "We’ve no immediate plans just delighted he won and we’ll try and come back for something similar.”
